These items are actual seized items. The money that Kilo actually brings in would be much higher. For instance, if Kilo is used to sniff a vehicle and we get a criminal case on it and the vehicle is forfeited. We may use the vehicle or if the vehicle is auctioned off I do not keep those stats. It is a seizure however and obviously makes the county money from the auction or saves the county money if the vehicle is put into service. The same can be said for nay investigation where Kilo gets us probable cause to start a case or seize items used in drug cases. If we end up seizing bank accounts, houses, cars, boats or whatever, all of those items can be credited back to the canine unit.
